Pumpkins will lead Halloween Hikers down a trail of characters from the Dr. Seuss story, "The Lorax", during a special Hallween Hike at Calkins Nature Center Saturday, October 18th.

"Street of the Lifted Lorax" is the title of this year's Calkins hike, which is not scary and is open to all ages. The hikes will start at 6:00pm and will leave every 15 minutes. Following the hike, participants will enjoy refreshments, storytelling, crafts, and face painting.

The cost of the event is $1.50 per person. Preregistration is required. Contact Calkins at 641-648-9878 or more information or to register.
